Avenger, Birth (Revised)

Towa called her brother, Kousuke, “Kou-chan”.

The relationship between the twins was good, and they seemed to be more like friends.

Although they were twins, they were not completely identical.

So although they are similar, it was a level of resemblance you would see in normal siblings.

There were times when they would go out shopping or watch movies together.

At school, they were sometimes called siscon and brocon, but it was also true that they were on good terms. (TL : Siscon – brocon = sister complex – brother complex)

When we entered junior high school, we started to go to a cram school.

It was at their mother’s insistence.

She said she wanted them to take the high school entrance exams and go to a good university.

They weren’t against it, so they went to the cram school three days a week after school.

Sometimes my father would come to pick us up after work when we were done.

One day, Kousuke had cram school.

Even though it was a day of cram school, Kousuke was invited by a friend to hang out.

Kousuke wasn’t able to hang around with his friends from the homecoming club because he couldn’t go out with them for three days each week, making their relationship awkward.

Kousuke decided to skip the cram school that day because he wanted to avoid making their relationship more awkward.

With a little bit of guilt, the arcade and karaoke sessions he headed to were more fun than usual.

It was a day when all the gears were out of whack.

Or maybe it was a day when all the gears were maliciously in sync.

Kousuke’s father had texted him that day, saying that he was too busy with work to pick them up.

His mother had once told him that she was extremely afraid of letting his sister go out at night, but had decided to send her to a cram school because she thought it would be safe if Kousuke was with her.

He was only born a little earlier, but Kousuke was still her big brother, and also a man.

He was blessed with enough physical ability to be scouted for the sports club.

That’s why it was possible for them to fight off classmates and seniors, even if they were somehow involved.

It would have been possible if they were together.

That’s right.

Kousuke skipped out of cram school.

He was prepared to be scolded when he returned home, but when he did, he found out that his sister, Towa, was missing.

His mother reprimanded and slapped him.

Quickly, he looked around for her.

But he couldn’t find her.

After work, his father came to pick up Kousuke, who was out of breath from running around looking for his sister.

The next day, the police came to their house.

The witnesses were neighbors, or rather acquaintances of his father, and thanks to them, the police were able to contact Kousuke’s family right away.

My sister was humiliated, left naked, and froze to death.

Kousuke was unreasonably tempted to beat the shit out of the police when they calmly told him that it might take some time to confirm her identity because all of Towa’s possessions had been burned.

From that point on, the Kurono family fell apart.

His mother blamed Kousuke, while his father defended him, and their quarrel escalated to a divorce.

His mother said she’s going back to her parents’ house, and his father said he’s going to stay behind because of his job.

Kousuke decided to stay with his father.

His father agreed to it, either out of love or guilt.

(If only I had gone to get him…)

His father probably had such regrets.

(If I hadn’t told him to go to school…)

His mother had such regrets

(If I hadn’t skipped out on cram school!)

Kousuke had that kind of regret.

He thought about committing suicide.

But if he did that, his mother would surely break down.

His father would blame himself even more.

That’s why he couldn’t do it just yet.

Besides, there were things he needed to do before he could kill himself.

Kousuke almost never went to school after that.

He joined up with a group of misfits.

There is no end to the darkness once you step into it.

It just keeps getting deeper and deeper.

In Kousuke’s case, he fell into it willingly.

He was smart, and was also stronger than most others his age.

If you took the idiots’ habits into account and moved with a plan, it wasn’t too difficult to establish a stable position.

Kousuke knew exactly what he was doing.

That there are people who kidnap kids and gang-rape them.

If that’s all there is to it, it’s not uncommon.

There are countless rape victims every day.

Moreover, there are times when a case is not even reported because the victim is afraid of facing humiliation.

Kousuke steadily strengthened his position and narrowed down his list of revenge candidates.

At some point, the murder of city scums began to occur.

Of course, Kousuke was the culprit.

But no one even suspected a thing.

Little by little, he managed to get rid of the scums that prey on women.

With the rotten group’s information obtained from a certain woman, Kousuke finally learned the location of his original prey.

He had one of the scums he tortured make a phone call to one of his targets.

He made him talk about how he wanted to introduce Kousuke to them.

It seems that the other party knew about Kousuke, so the conversation progressed quickly.

They were a group of seven men.

They were the same age as Kousuke.

In other words, it was a group of junior high school students who raped a junior high school student, abandoned her, and left her to die.

The Kurono family was ruined by the sexual desires of seven brats.

I killed them all.

What’s funny is that those seven brats didn’t remember Towa.

They were so fucked up that they didn’t even remember all the things they did.

After it was all over, Kousuke thought about his parents for a bit.

He had managed to graduate from junior high school, but after that, Kousuke had left his home.

That’s why he never saw his mother or even his father afterward.

How would they feel when they learn of his death?

I think they would be sad.

They will probably shed tears, even for this unworthy son.

I don’t want to make them cry…

But more than that, Kousuke was tired.

Above all, there was one more person he needed to kill.

It wasn’t just the seven people he had killed that had caused his sister’s death.

It wasn’t just them that had destroyed his family.

It’s me.

I could have avoided this tragedy by simply going to school like I was supposed to.

His mother trusted her son and cooked dinner at home.

His father worked hard to provide for his family.

His sister was diligent and worked hard at her studies.

And Kousuke?

I was the scum!

That’s why Kousuke wanted to kill himself.

He wanted to erase himself from the world.

The source of the nightmare.

The most unforgivable existence in the world.
